In addition to the previously released Road Legal Slip-On Silencer Kit, new from Akrapovic is the Race Slip-On Silencer Kit and Optional Race Header Set for the 2016 Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin.
The Akrapovic slip-on race silencer is simple to install and a direct replacement. The hexagonal muffler with it's twin outlet dramatically improves the bike's visual appearance, whilst the exhaust itself gives more power, more torque, and less weight.
This race silencer features the same build quality as the road legal version but due to not having to undergo homologation testing it provides a lower price and the additional benefit of removable baffles.
All parts required for fitment are included (brackets/fittings/link pipe etc.) with full fitting instructions. This is developed to fit without fuel modification, and give you the unique Akrapovic racing sound.
The silencers can now be upgraded to a full system with the use of the optional header set.
