Zard Sabbia Stainless Slip-On Kit

With the Launch of Ducati's DesertX, Zard have developed the all new Sabbia slip-on kit. 

The close collaboration between the Centro Stile and the Zard R&D Team, means the slip-on combines new manufacturing techniques and sophisticated styling. With references to the world of African rally raids, the modern design elements perfectly match the lines of the Ducati DesertX.

The Zard Sabbia slip-on kit is easy to install, supplied with all necessary parts. Designed to save weight and increase performance of the bike whilst improving the sound and visual aesthetics compared to the original exhaust.

The slip-on kit is Euro 5 homologated road legal with stainless steel silencer and carbon fibre heatshields.

Zard Sabbia Aluminium Engine Guard

Manufactured in a special aeronautical-derived aluminium alloy, the new Zard engine guard for the Ducati DesertX is an essential part of the new Sabbia range. 

The engine guard has been designed directly on the Ducati DesertX to offer optimal protection to all the mechanical parts of the powerful twin-cylinder engine. It offers excellent impact resistance and, despite its considerable thickness it guarantees optimum weight saving. 

To increase resistance even in the most demanding situations, the Sabbia engine guard is not anchored directly to the engine. In fact, the Zard engineers have created a tubular stainless-steel frame, designed specifically for the Ducati DesertX, which works as a support for the engine guard using the fixing points present on the bike.

The "dart" styling motif that characterises this engine guard has a dual purpose - aesthetic and functional. In fact, it lightens the component and ensures the correct air passage to help cool the mechanics, but at the same time it recalls the Z of the Zard logo and makes the engine guard more streamlined and aggressive.
