The winglet kit for the S1000RR also allows the use of the M1000RR wings on the S model, with all the advantages and without restrictions. For the first time, the striking M look with certified quality and ABE can also be used on the S. The kit also contains reinforcements for the inside of the fairing, so that the original side fairings can be used.

Fitment Note: In addition to the winglets, this kit also contains a drilling template for the original side panels which must be drilled to mount the winglets.

When installed in conjunction with the Ilmberger carbon side panels for the M1000RR (VEL-003-M121S-K / VER-004-M121S-K), the holes required for assembly are already present, so no drilling is required. In addition the supplied reinforcements for the inside of the fairing are not required, due to the side panels enormous strength.

The parts are made exclusively in the latest, state-of-the-art manufacturing process out of carbon fibre prepreg weave in the autoclave. This procedure is also used to produce all of the high performance parts for the Moto GP and Formula 1 racing vehicles.

As with all Ilmberger carbon parts, it features a clear T V certified coating, this not only improves the appearance, but also protects the carbon fibre from scratching and has a unique UV resistance (with the exception of Racing parts).
